Star Children - Updated designs/swatches part 1
🕑 Added 2024-12-04 23:34:45 +0000 UTCI’m slowly getting to the point where I am going to try to start storyboards and making episodes again for Star children 😭 ty for being so patient with me!
Here’s a quick look of the updated designs for the character’s first appearance in the story.
Some of the changes I’m making:
Updated the human cast’s age from early 20’s (21-22) to mid 20’s (25-26)
Maria/Luke & Thomas all live together
Grew out Maria's hair to be a bit longer compared to the original and star catcher
Maria is currently working for Thomas's business as an assistant while she saves up to open her own garden shop
Thomas purposefully made sure to get the best insurance for his employee's so that Maria has the care she needs
Luke & Thomas are already engaged
Luke is currently in his final year in medical school (funded by Thomas)
Thomas has finished his graduate degree and has officially taken over his family's business
Cut Luke's hair (as that was already the plan for after season 1 of star catcher)
Thomas wears more business clothes vs his causal comfort clothes in star catcher
Em is single and living on her own
Still great friends with Luke/Thomas/Maria
Is an artist and streamer full time
Cut her hair to be similar to wait she had in the original version, then added back her pink as a peak-a-boo moment
Txeru's color palette has been slightly updated (if you can even notice lol)
He will be getting a "human" form much earlier on
He will be meeting Thomas much earlier as well & they will have more time to bond as friends
There will be more of a time skip from when Txeru is discovered/saved by Maria and when shit starts to go down
Lighteaters will be more on the news and shown to be searching for Txeru
Stella's court outfit is given a big update
Dress tiered like a peony, added purple to showcase Andromeda's influence on her
