🕑 Added 2025-02-11 17:29:21 +0000 UTCHi hi! It's me again! Sooooo, some change of plans on what I'm working on in these next couple of weeks.
Sadly, Webtoon rejected my pitch to Star Children. It wasn't a hard no, just a pass on it for now. (The reasoning was understandable, it was very world-building & lore heavy and they were concerned that the characters were just a vehicle to explain the lore and not develop the characters. I didn't do a great job explaining the character arcs so it is what it is. My editor tried to fight for me but it just isn't the time, sadly.)
Good news tho -- unprompted, they wanted to hear more about my fairies and that story I have for the Witch's Mirror. So, I had a meeting with my editor to go over some details so I can start fleshing out the characters and main point of the story to work on a pitch.
If all goes well, and TWM is greenlit and is successful, it'll open the door for Star Children and TEB to be greenlit if I can prove I can handle a character-driven narrative in a fantasy setting.
WITH ALL OF THAT BEING SAID. I have 2 more eps for February that I have to finish rendering and then I'm done for the month, and I should easily be able to do that by this weekend. I still have the V-Day posts to make before Friday, so I'm going to work on that after work today. I also need to work on merch-designs so that Webtoon can have a nice collection for a Shop-drop. I have postcards already, but I have other ideas I need to pump out as well.
I'm planning on pushing back working on the NSFW updates for MxT while I work on working out the merch and pitch prep. I really need to get this second pitch approved so that I can more confidently focus on transitioning to a full-time artist career. I'm just... very, very overwhelmed haha. With Star Catcher's sudden blow-up and my patreon growing so rapidly, I don't want to slow down on content for my new folks. I will make some extra NSFW dump posts in place of the exclusives in the meantime for my Royal Treatment folks. I'm very tired lol
TLDR; Pitch got rejected, gotta pivot to another story to see if I can make art my full time career. Gonna make some NSFW extras and posts while working on merch and fairy pitch

So, I’m new here. Was the rejection for merch being made for Star Children? Either way, definitely do what you need to! I’m excited to see more about your new story idea. The concept art looks so pretty! 🥰

Star Catcher is a normal world/college world of Star children. There is no species of Star people in Star catcher or so the events that have in each universe are different.

Umm, I hope this isn't a weird/dumb question to ask but what exactly is Star Childrens relation to Star Catcher, like I get that all the characters in Star Catcher originated from Star Children, and they would've supposed taken place at the sameish time, but what confuses me is how/if they interact with each other because while Star Catcher works fine within the lore of Star Children I'll uncertain if it's intended to be the same the other way, if so cool, but with how M&T are treated the same as all the other couples from a story perspective, it makes me think Star Catcher coming out by the time Star Children was "ending" makes me think it isn't supposed intended to be within the same lore as Star Children I don't know. Sorry this was a lot to just ask a simpler question, what is the lore relation of Star Children and Star Catcher?
