Yeah, for sure. One panel has Luke with the bandage but is all cleaned up, then there’s another where he’s now got a bloody nose and a black eye? Doesn’t matter who you are, or what you’re going through, that shit is absolutely never okay.

Okay: I know that she is reacting in the heat of the moment after finding out her husband has died, and both of her kids have almost died. I know that she must have depression and/or anxiety based on the other panels we’ve seen. This doesn’t mean that this is okay. Normally, I would hope that she would have apologized to Luke after she acted out and really worked to try to mend the relationship and grieve together. Unfortunately, I know that doesn’t seem to be the case… My heart hurts for their family as they went through this.

My heartbreaking for him. And honestly a bit for the mother as well, I think it wrong what she did but I can’t imagine losing the love of your life and almost your daughter. Though I do think it’s wrong she’s blaming Luke.
