Looks like Reggie is our [for now] final GrimLewd main character. I think I'll focus the future votes on the four characters that already got NSFW images. Otherwise we'll never get anywhere with the storylines. Or maybe not? Let me know what you think in the comments!
Reggie's lore post:
[Doormaker]: is a combination of a [spatial mage] and [carpenter]. It allows for construction of doorways that connect two points in space permanently at a relatively low mana cost. Unlike regular portals they are almost free to maintain after the initial mana investment into crafting the doors.
Besides that a [doormaker] has all the buffs and features of it's parent spellcaster and crafting class. Increased spatial soul mana generation, greater memory for portal/movement related spells, greater finesse when handing wood etc.
[Fleshcrafter]: a magical crafting class focused on creation of living, soulless constructs capable of accomplishing complex tasks. Tasks like lugging a magical door through a corrupted wasteland until it finds a spot that fulfills a set of criteria.
Besides that a [fleshcrafter] has buffs and [abilities] related to augmenting living organisms.
Reggie is a curious man with an even curiouser set of skills. An accomplished portal mage that went on to develop an incredibly efficient way of creating stable doorways between two points in space.
He's also a greedy little twink. In the course of his life he became corrupted by greed mana which affects his mind. He will go to great distances to get what he wants.
This week you'll vote on Reggie's story in the near future AS WELL as who lives in the are that Reggie "discovered". Votes starting with a number chose Reggie's story and votes starting with [locals] chose who Reggie tries to do business with.
I am trying a different vote setup this time around. I like the Path[A][B][C] but I found it a bit difficult this time around. I couldn't think of three sufficiently different paths for Reggie that would make sense. I guess the Path format works for characters that are more in flux?
I didn't want to force it so I settled on something simpler. I hope that you like it anyway!

Why not focus on those four as the "main" characters, but allow the others to show up in other pools as the (potential) partners ? They won't get to evolve or change much, but they're options we pick for our MC of the week. For example, "Nui is now at a (literal) crossroad, she wants more monstrous partners, but she doesn't know what to pick : - the Spire, and their reputed spire guards ? Surely, if she's after their "spire" rather than their "spire", she'll be able to have fun with them. - The Untethered ? They are all greed and joy, SURELY they'll make her feel that, one way or another" Or "Danny loves how bonding with other templars is going, but ... - Sparring with someone mighty from outside the order is also a great way to burn off excessive energy ! And who knows, her storm blade opponent doesn't seem to mind some rough fun of another kind after (or during) the fight. - But templars HELP common folks, especially penitent ones ! Some healthy release for sinful desires could only help Pietra with how she feels. - But templars -aren't- above the inquisition, and Inez might not like the way Danny has been releasing pent-up energy lately. Not if she doesn't get some fun of her own with it." IDK, those are just some ideas I came up with on the spot, but I feel like they'd be a win for everyone, even those who did not win the main votes :D Why come up with new designs for fill-in every time when you have a whole cast on the side, ready to serve and have its own influence.

Would love to see the Monster Cook's story get expanded. But it is a good idea to focus on these four first. Maybe Nui the elf can meet the Spire Guardian.

I think focusing in on specific characters may work better. You flesh out certain aspects of the setting more before branching out. So, things don't get muddled if you want callbacks or crossovers in the future. Also, I think most folks like to see more than just a narrative snapshot. Perhaps, follow characters to a good narrative stopping point, a big character development or setting change, before branching out into new characters. After some downtime with other characters, you can come back to see what happens next. So, you create a natural rotation of character points-of-view, like chapters in an epic. Eventually, some characters' narratives might merge or spin-off new character narratives.

I think it would be neat to see Reggie pulling a Music Man style routine on the locals, giving them a fun spiel combined with his magic skills.

I like the idea of Reggie pitching the virtues of his new portal for travel and commerce to the Untethered, because their ability to fly means it doesn't have nearly as much benefit them; instead of opening new possibilities, it's just a new way of getting what they already have. He might not be prepared for dealing with people who don't care about what he's theretofore seen as a self-evident value proposition.

Could you just pick a less popular character or two that you personally like and make them main character(s) too?

If Reggie's mind is corrupted with greed, does that also influence sexual tendencies? Would he be unsatisfied with a single partner? Would he be a jealous lover? Would he want all the sex? These are the questions that keep me up at night. (not really, buts it's fun to theorize.)

I like the format of splitting parts of the concept, it's a good way of doing a more narrow scope. As for limiting the number of characters at once I agree. Maybe do a limited run for each and after you feel like you are satisfied with their story you cycle them out for a new character? That way we get a few pieces with each but there's still opportunity for new designs and lore.

I could see Reggie as an even more twisted version of Willy Wonka, taking on leadership of the shortstacks to generate additional things for him to trade with.

I also would enjoy seeing Reggie in the thief....in The town of corrupted cultists he could either be the one that Reggie was sent to satisfy or a more recently corrupted citizen that winds up befriending/rescuing him and then they have to get out of town quickly together.. maybe file on the road today encounter the Templar who was coming to purge the town in the first place or perhaps they're trying to reach the household interface for some purpose as with Reggie's doors opening up a means of travel, it could get a lot more customers to provide it mana..

It'd be a shame not to see some art of the other characters, Walking Fortress especially has been one of my favourite designs in the GrimLewd set, but I can understand wanting to focus on the setting's depth rather than breadth at the moment.
