I concur with the painting ideas presented so far, it's classic but more original than ghosts. In a couple of panels, the subjects of the paintings could become more grotesque, still painterly in style but boschian, and step out of their frames to seduce the Hunter. The master of the house would look like Gary Oldman as prince Vlad, of course. Or they could partially enter the painting(s), go crazy!

the Invitation is my favorite! one order of Lovecraftian sex madness, please. the Hunter and the Doll have made their way to the heart of the manor, where the very house itself has been infested by demonic corruption. someone attempted a summoning here but was interrupted and the poor creature is stuck between worlds. Her influence is clear: the walls shudder and ripple as though alive, curious growths tempting the weak. the furniture has become twisted and grotesque, though still very fun to sit on. the statues writhe and the paintings on the walls shift as their subjects unfurl from their frames, reaching for Her, alive but... wrong. no matter, She is clearly in need. it is up to the Hunter and the Doll to banish Her back to Her own plane. or perhaps they should finish the ritual? it is what She wants after all, and She is so generous....
