I agree, it’s probably a theme of witches tempting less faithful nuns into “behavior problems” and the prioress knowing full well whats occuring, hoping to reveal that its not actually worth pursuing. Or is it…?

Theory: The Witch has some beef with the Prioress not just because she’s keeping her from her nun lover, but the Prioress is a previous lover herself who chose the clergy over the Witch. The Prioress knows exactly why the Nun is having “behavior problems” even if the Witch’s magic has so far prevented her from seeing the Nun getting fucked (even when it happens right in front of her~) because she had the very same sexual adventures with the Witch years ago.
