Thanks so much for sharing this, I would've probably switched this one off as I'd be expecting sexual violence in this context but given your comment I'm assuming that's not going to happen here. Lots of podcast shows don't share that particular trigger warning. I really appreciate you sharing for others who may not want to be exposed to the content that is included as well!

Hi! I love your work, I’d just like to suggest that you add “violence against women” to the content warnings for this episode as Tom targets women specifically for his initial victims (although I understand he also kills their male family members) and this is described in more detail (including how he selects and charms/seduces them) than the male victims. This may seem like a small detail but that gendered element can be particularly upsetting or triggering for some people. I point this out because I would have skipped the episode myself had that particular cw been provided. I realize that it’s our responsibility as listeners (not yours as creators) to make the right choices regarding responsible consumption of media. It’s just that extra bit of info can really help us make the right choices a bit easier. Thanks so much for reading this! I also hope it is helpful to other fans :) Happy valentine’s day ❤️
