Definitely much better with sounds, no offense to the deaf. ;) -There are a lot of openings in the ground, there is the risk that a fracture of dimensional space will open at any moment and the worst things come out from inside, better not to happen. -Maybe add a notification for when something is collected, so you can run and collect without having to stop each time to see if you've actually picked it up and haven't just passed by. -Add the three-dimensionality (the double sprite) also to mushrooms (already there are few, even worse if you can't see them) or anything that seen sideways becomes invisible.
