i know this is a super late reply but i’m curious if they ever followed up on this suggestion! was just brewing myself a cup for a yerba mate latte brewed while listening to this episode

Lol, this is so late but I want to contribute. I also get panic attacks from caffeine, so I transitioned to not having any caffeinated beverages. I can honestly say I have more energy now than when I was drinking caffeine daily. It could be worth trying a non-caffeinated tea for a while in the mornings to see if you are more energized when you no longer rely on caffeine. Plus when you then do have a little bit of caffeine, it REALLY works.

Sean try Yerba Maté for an alternative for coffee

1. I feel SO seen knowing there’s others out there also obsessed with Gordon Ramsey 2. The premise for Next Level Chef (great show) is from a fantastic and INSANE psychological thriller/horror movie called The Platform and I believe it’s on Netflix? That’s my recc!

But for real please take that book recc in earnest it is laugh out loud funny and it's heart warming and it makes you feel safe and seen and sane but also a little insane in a nice way and I just love it

Let me paint a scene to tell you why homemade lemonade is the way I start my day lately. Picture this: you've just finished your second year of college, you have few responsibilities, just a part time job at a music library with a flexible schedule. You wake up around 10:30 or 11 most days because who's making you wake up earlier? Nobody. It feels too late for a morning tea or coffee so you opt for a glass of lemonade that you made at 2am because your sleep schedule I whack now. You grab a book that makes you feel better about being mentally ill (Let's pretend this never happened by Jenny Lawson (another free reccomendation youre welcome)), sit outside on your porch in that sticky but breezy Illinois summer heat, and sit and sip and read and pretend like youre the old lonely southern woman that gives wisdom to the children and sits in her garden like in books you read when you were young.

DO A POWERBOMB! was easily my favorite comic of 2022. Always glad to hear more people are reading it.

Celsius is good but it gives me the pre workout skin tingles 🙈
I had not heard of Celsius before, but today at lunch, after listening to this on my commute, the cafe had a new energy drink cooler with Celsius in it. Will report back.

My recommendation for everyone reading this is Kickles. Look it up.
