Leaving Limbo
🕑 Added 2016-12-18 09:22:49 +0000 UTC Hey, I missed a post last week. Sorry about that. I blame Christmas MADNESS*.It's been a busy few weeks. The whole "YouTube is collapsing" drama combined with Machinima being bought out kinda leaves me in a state of limbo. YouTube analytics is up the swanny so I have no idea how many people are watching, what reactions to things really are, if I'm even being paid for any of this. It's a mess. That's why people are panicing. We don't know which was is up anymore.
(Note: This is not helped by two fucking robots from YT making an "everything's fine" video.)
On a happier note, I have some escape plans. I always have, now they're actually happening.
- There's a short film I'm writing with someone magical. We have plans to actually make this. People might see it. OH GOD.
- We have games in active development. One is getting close to being feature complete. (I think all the levels are finished, just need to be glued into the right places. We finalised the art style in a meeting a few days ago.)
- We have you lot and your donations. (Which have risen like 10% since the YT fuckery started. Thank you for that. <3) If everything collapses it's nice to know that I can still carry on using this site.
Nerd³ as a company turns 5 next year. YouTube got us this far but I think 2017 is the year we move up to bigger and better things. I mean, we'll still have YouTube, but I'll only keep it around as an excuse to make more Planet Coaster videos.

Positive spin on things, I like it, also I only watch two or three YouTube channels content (due to a lack of time) and yours is one, so after about 4 years of watching I'm glad things you've found other avenues to explore and grow, also I like paying my way so I'm glad you'll have this as a format to bring in enough revenue to keep creating.
