I'm not sure dan knows about hospital people which is just a series of tom bins characters together in a hospital!

Harry Barr

Tom Binns did a comedy night in my village doing Ian D Montfort and Ivan Brackenbury

Zachary Rodriguez

Robin Williams is someone I think there will never be another one of

Jake Atterby

It pleases me so much that I own all the same songs

Felice Enellen

Wow, Dan. I was surprised to find myself listening intently to what amounts to your Star Trek fanfic. I adore your content, sure, but.. y'know... fanfic is fanfic--it's hard to get excited about it, even if I like its author. Yet I felt the same sort of engagement I used to feel when a new episode of TNG aired. I'd even say excitement, at the prospect of the next story. I'm not sure how Roddenberry's estate would feel about it (probably quite poorly) but I would absolutely tune in your fantasy series in podcast form if you were to make it a regular fixture here. (Well, I guess I'm tuning in regularly anyway. But you know what I mean. It was good; I want more.) Would you consider trying to write some more? Maybe sketch out a story arc or two and give it a go in short installments, like bumpers on the larger podcasts or something?

In your Star Trek pilot you could have the young boy trained by Tom Paris because he would be on Voyager, he is the best space pilot and could take a job with the Academy now he is back on earth.

Mike Jones

I have this rib spice mix which my parents got for me in South Africa, I really wish I knew what was in it as it is stupily good, but yeah best way to do ribs is get a good rub, oil and rub the ribs then put in a baking dish wish a little bit of water, cover with foil and cook on a low heat for a long time.

Thomas Reeves

Dan, I can safely say that lots of people want/need your Star Trek pilot. Especially those like me where TNG/DS9/VOY came out before our time.

Tom

There will never be anyone like Prince. He is the only man in the world who can sing Purple Rain with true passion.

Felix James Knight

There will never be another person like Freddie Mercury. He's another unique person. And Brian May. Actually, Queen in general. There will never be another band like Queen. Or the Beatles for that matter, actually. They seem pretty unique as well...

Tommy Lyons

Dan, it's EDgar, not EGGdar

Sandwich247

Darn it Dan, soya mince is a million times worse than quorn mince. Gee wiz. The Linda sausage rolls should become standard. The whole family agrees. Can't replace bacon, though. Nothing can replace bacon. I calculated that I eat around 20 kilos of the stuff a year. Too good.

Damien Letham

I had another shot at making the chicken burgers, and thought I'd share the way I did it. Drop of oil in the pan, dissolved stock cube with some water in a mug, and added to the pan once it was fully dissolved. Ended up adding a bit more water from the kettle. I cut the breast in half and added it when the pan was still at a fairly low heat, and I periodically turned it over, basting it with the chicken stock liquid. Yum. :P

Why won’t you be playing Assassins Creed Origins

Thanks Dan! 😀

Brad

Thanks dan for killing the time between videos with more of ur voice. Question. Where would u recommend starting for someone who has never seen star trek?

Supersonicclank

WORDS! XD

LukeSeawalker

As you’ve deleted the tapped out segment from your book would you consider posting it to Patreon at some point?

Nerd³

OH MY GOD I HAD NO IDEA

The Star Trek pitch was amazing I loved it. Also I think there will never be anyone like Prince

Good ol' Pink Planet, great place to get PS2 games.

Diane Frank

Yay for stupid long chats about a Star Trek test pilot & the future that damn well better turn into something, Daniel. Or if you don't do it, then let one (or more!) of us play with it.

Stan Gaskell

I would kill for some written patreon only (or even non-exclusive) recipes from you. Those ribs sound like the shit (and I'm so hungry now fuck you ;) )

Adam Li

Never another Muhammad Ali

Tom Chaney

As someone who really enjoys writing scripts but isn't terribly great at it, I'd be really interested to hear some writing tips from Dan

Regarding Scrapheap challenge: Tory from Mythbusters had an AMA on Reddit recently. He said Junkyard Wars (The US version of Scrapheap Challenge) may return, and talks are ongoing.

Christopher Kennard

I've gotta agree with your comments about the new South Park game. I haven't played it myself but I've been watching Jesse Cox's playthrough of it and of the first and the story just... hasn't gripped me at all yet.

Franklin Goodman

Dan, what is your favorite ship from Star Trek?

Alley

That Star Trek concept is AMAZING

EB

The bit talking about cooking the ribs made me immediately think of Dead Ringer's Nigella Lawson impression..for some reason

Valthexus

I knew Ivan brakenberry name he had his own bbc show called hospital people which was his radio show thing

I WOULD WATCH THE SHIT OUT OF THAT STAR TREK CONCEPT, FUCK ME

Silver Thompson

I was vegetarian for 10 years. I ended up stopping because I got ill and needed more protein. Even if you start eating meat today, think about the number of animals that didn't die in the past two decades because of you. I now get my meat, dairy, and eggs from a local farmer's market. That way I'm supporting local business instead of factory farms. You could eat well sourced meat occasionally and still tell companies that factory farming is unacceptable. I also try to use the bits of animals that normally aren't eaten. I have chicken backs in the fridge for soup and dried cow ribs for my dog. That way, I feel that I'm honouring the animal.

Zion Aitken

I'm a vegetarian and (despite what people may think) I, to some extent, actually envy people that eat meat. I'm honestly vegetarian because it's how I've been brought up and of course animals are lovely but I'm not gonna lie meat looks really good. When it's done well it looks and smells amazing, my mouth was watering over you describing the ribs and I would love to try them (for the record I have tried chicken when I was younger and it is pretty fantastic). I like the idea of beginning to eat meat but then if I do what was the point in my last 17 years of vegetarianism? Thoughts. (Also that star trek pilot sounds amazing, even though I've never seen an episode of star trek)

Simon Paffett

Did you even listen to it? >X(

Simon Paffett

Robin Williams?

Well Read Nomad

Any thoughts to share on the Doctor's new companions?

There will never be another person like Freddie Mercury :P

Septimus ii

The Enterprise F looks amazing. I really like that sleaker design

Bjorn van Rijszen

The Enterprise E just looks too... flat. It's too wide and flat. Like, Voyager was flat as well, but it was sleek. Long, narrow and flat. It was an explorer, it needed to look like it could go far and fast. But Enterprise E is, yeah... boring. It's not meant to go anywhere. Just loiter and look big.

Jeremy Lashinski

I don't think there will be anyone quite like John Cena. I am sure some people come close, but I think Cena stands out among the rest.

In art and science there will be nobody like Leonardo Da Vinci. In music Tyler Joseph has a wide range and a distinct sound that probably will never be replicated well (Kidzbop definitely couldn't replicate it).

Miranda Walker

Any chance of hearing a tv show podcast where you talk about Stargate? Not all of it, god, patreon servers would explode. But like your favorite and least favorite episodes? My favorite was the groundhog day episode.

Dan... We need to see that pilot for Star Trek I don't like Star Trek but even I would love to see this show.

Rowan Mackenzie

The thing you're thinking of is pinwheel

Agrajag

Windmills. They're called windmills.. I like the idea of a list of your top TV series, but what I would really like is a list of your favourite radio shows. I adore these podcastles, thank you so much for everything you do. <3

There will never be another man as true to himself as Lemmy Kilmister. he embodied rock and roll in a way no other human being has. he was a force of nature, like the essence of rock music made into a mortal form. my first, last and best pick for "we'll never see another..." award

he says to explain bad voice "hi guys metal gear solid" is this true if so YAY

I don't think there will ever be anyone like Freddie Mercury

Mathieu Marlaire

Did you mean windmill? Are you alright mate?

Ok those sound like good ribs but to THE BEST they must be smoked for at lest 20 hours

Anna Leigh Wilson

I honestly think that the era of Star Trek is over for now. I hate to say it, but because writers (both big screen and small) don't know how to write episodes without blood/violence/gore. Publishers don't want to take a gamble because a flop could bankrupt them.

ok i’ve literally never given a shit about star trek like it’s not my kind of thing but that got me interested af.. this is why people who genuinely love things should have more creative input than ppl who are just in it for ££££

We need a Cubed family cook off

Hey Dan, loved the 'podcastle' once again! You should start putting recipes up on here, all your food sounds delicious and I wanna try it all!

Shawn Lindsay

These are such a delight to listen to. Also on All 4 there is LEGO Masters like the Great British bake off but with Lego, in teams of 2 and people of all ages judged by the President of Design at Lego and expert judge is either engineering, art or design and a a special celebrity guests who are fans of Lego like Richard Osman, Bill Bailey and Dara O'Briain

Those are certainly some words. :-)

Love it! Good to listen to while revising.

Zoey G

I am SO for that star trek idea. You've managed to fill me with hype for something that'll probably never exist.

Gabriel Moody

Dan, there will never be anyone like you again 😍 Just kidding, maybe like George Michael ❤️ Also, why star trek over star wars. Star Wars seems like it would be right up your street?

I would like to know more about your addiction to Simpsons tapped out. This is due to the fact I have never been addicted to anything. It may have something to do with Asbergers but I find that unlikely.

Stuart O'Hara

Never be another Freddie Mercury

Alex Harrison

Just got to college and the fact that this is here has made my day 100x better

I’ve been obsessively playing South Park myself. I have been avoiding the main storyline and have been working the side quests.

Daniel Marshall

I was going to recommend Chris Evans' (not that one, or that one) Go Faster Stripe! Get Bec Hills album if you haven't yet. Also check out Manbuycow. Written sketch show with songs and improv.

Jeff Duvall

Honestly I love these as much as the videos.
