Dan - Getting a great payout early on is an industry trick. Your lucky draw was probably scripted. It gives you the urge to try again. I'm aware of one early mobile poker game that did something like this in its demo--gave you hand after hand of exciting cards for the handful of games you were allowed to play, hoping to get you so engaged that you'd pay for the full version.

As an alternative to quorn chicken for fajitas, I use three bean salad (or 5 bean if it's in water), just dump a tin or two in the pan, by the time the onions are done enough of the water will have boiled off and the rest will have mixed with the seasoning mix (if you're using it) to give the whole concoction a really nice consistency

A couple of Board Games I've been enjoying are 'Betrayal at House on the Hill' (basically every B-Movie Horror film you've seen, in board game form), and 'Escape from the Aliens in Outer Space' (a nice hidden location game where aliens hunt humans whilst the humans try to escape). Both work best with more players (not sure who.how many people you play your board games with) but they're still rather fun. (And I'll save my video game recommendation for after I've listened to Pt. 2)
