I really enjoyed the E3 content, probably because I could tell you were having good time with them too. As always, the best content is the stuff you have enjoyed making. If you want to go down the route of a news-like format, I'd be happy to watch them all. As far as a program format and schedule, I think TotalBiscuit had it right with his "Content Patch" series: produce an episode when there's either enough stuff to talk about or something timely has occurred, have a variety of content and put timestamps to sections in the video descriptions so fussy people can skip right past the bits they don't care for. Don't stick to a super-rigid structure if that doesn't help you (and I get the feeling you don't flourish in artificial constraints), and don't be afraid to cover things which aren't video-gaming news. If you want to talk about a board-game, or a movie, or a Lego set that has you excited, I would listen to your thoughts on it too. In short: just talk about stuff you care about, because I like listening to people who care.

I agree with you on Jim Sterling. I think he's wasted on the videos he makes now. He's hilarious but he just makes basically the exact same video every day. It's gotten to the point that whenever he puts out a new video I genuinely think I've seen it before and it's just a reupload

Also if the news stuff is gonna be all that goes up on the YouTube channel I think it needs to be more than weekly, but if there's miscellaneous weird and/or edited stuff mixed in then weekly would be great. Also also, a quick "how my day/week was" podcast sounds fun.

I think short videos whenever something interesting comes out or is announced is a great idea! If you try sticking to a regular schedule, that’ll just result in worse videos when there’s nothing to talk about. As for Patreon, maybe daily is a bit too much, but I would enjoy more regular updates.

First of all, I just wanted to say it is great to hear you sound genuinely happy. I was a bit sad that you deleted all your tweets but after your explanation I understand why you did it and it clearly had a positive effect on you. I can't wait for the book, hearing you sound so passionate about it makes me even more excited. Regarding the game news style videos, I think it would be great if you did weekly 5-10 minute videos and if news about something you're really excited about comes out you could do a 1-2 minute video (something like OMGH videos on the Jim Stirling's channel but shorter).

I'd prefer a weekly news video than shorter daily ones.

I'd also like to see some short videos where you take one of your Dr Who episodes and condense it down to a few minutes, leaving disjointed jokes and barely any plot that is hard to follow entirely voiced by you with sketches by rebecca (or even you)

a weekly dose will give me something to look forward to, but you just making news on whatever you find interesting whenever you want to make it feels more like you, which is why i watch you
