I know this has been said before, but Dan should try stud.io (yes that is a pun). It's more robust than LDD and has a tool built in for checking prices on the pieces that you used.
The person reading this is sexy and epic

Dan! Use the group feature! It's a whole tab in the top left (under Undo)
Bjorn van Dijk
Grouping can be done by pressing ctrl+g whilst having the pieces you want to group selected

Got the public YouTube notification for this but now its private?

Has Dan tried Bricklink's LDD alternative? It's called Stud.io, and it's really nice. Very similar to LDD, but much better maintained, and with nice integration into Bricklink's MOC library.
Have you considered using stud.io instead of Lego digital designer. Its also free and is a bit more robust/ easier to use. Its no where near as fiddly. Either way I'm excited to see where the series goes.

Dan, have you considered submitting the Microfig houses to Lego Ideas? I would love this as an affordable alternative to the modular houses series.

I don't think he gives a fuck anymore

The random, terrifying static really kills the otherwise chill mood of this video.

there's a static burst at 01:55 as well - and a weird noise at 04:59 - and 10:15 and 10:17 - ... are u sure a reupload fixed it matt ?

I love everything about this dan, Also the microfigures are called that, the trophy pieces you’re using are nanofigures

Wait LDD still gets updates since they closed Design byME? Wow it looks so much nicer now!
Dan, when you have the selection tool selected there are additional selection tools on the toolbar at the top of the viewport that let you select multiple blocks, or select by connection or color. You can also cycle through these with Shift+V. You can group blocks using Ctrl+G, or by going to the groups tab on the left and hitting the new group button at the bottom left. You are then able to reselect your groups by clicking on them in the groups tab. For even more organization you can select a subset of your group's blocks and create a subgroup out of them with the bottommost of the three buttons that it shows on the group. Hope this helps!
oh!! thanks guys!!<3

Dan, I would buy all of these if they were produced!
Possibly a solution would be to actively highlight the block he is talking about.
Loving this new series. As great as it is to see Dan show off his LEGO sets in real life, its fun to see his creative side flourish! One thing I would point out for future recordings, as far as I can see, the cursor doesn't show up on the recording for us so when Dan is motioning to sections on the build, if you don't know where to look, his "over here" doesn't help. I don't know if there is a setting to turn cursor on or a program that will show it. Other than that, loving it! Happy New Year to the whole team, wishing you a much more joyous, happy and fruitful year ahead! Chromerian x

Happy New Year to the entire clan, Dan! Loving the video so far! I'm not sure if it's something you'd want to fix, but there's an audio glitch at 15:47, a brief hiss of static in the left channel. Another one on both channels at 28:14

Fantastic series but FYI there are some weird audio bursts around 15:48 in the video.

I think they are past caring about the algorithm now Omari. Dan specifically talked about it in the last podcast :)

Fyi this will totally fuck the YouTube algorithm if you don't make it a separate video upload
Happy new year to the lovely Nerd3 team :)
