I very much enjoy the quick pacing and witty banter. The short videos are also easy to watch in between. While the puns are a nice touch, you may want to consider leaving the explanation out, and leave detecting the puns to those who are paying sufficient attention.

Reminds me of the News series which I always enjoyed. I'm not too keen on the scripted aspect of it, but it's not bad. I liked the structure of the News series more but this is interesting and different, kind of like the Quick series but for news instead of a game. Overall good!

So good. SO GOOD! I listened to the the last few podcasts on the topic and can tell this is everything you've suggested in one, and it is brilliant. Honestly. I wouldn't lie about this because I live off my NerdCubed fixes and if it was shit I would want it to change. My only piece of constructive feedback is that you need to keep the pace of your narration as good as it was in this - not this one but other scripted videos in the past have occasionally been let down slightly by you reading out jokes slower than you often do off the cuff, and your style of comedy works best in a wait-did-he-really-just-say-that!? manner not with a hold-for-applause slower delivery. But that is serious nitpicking, and like I said, you nailed it here anyway. Overall I loved it, some genuine laugh out loud moments. Provided there are still some beloved edited gaming videos (pleeaase) this will be a hit.

Rather enjoyed this. I particularly like the broad range of content and love the inclusion of your opinions. Might I suggest putting a slight pause between topics and perhaps a title card or other transition of sorts at the start of a new topic? The transitions (particularly the one between Penn & Teller's new VR game and Bloodstained, but most of them) were so short that I was still digesting the previous statement when a completely new thing was delivered to my eyes and ears and I forgot what you just said. But, yeah, "Surprise Mechanics"? Fuck EA.

Love the format, works brilliantly especially with sources so you can read/watch further if you want more depth. A critique would be maybe have a little note along with each link, e.g. Penn & Teller, Planet Zoo, Tom Scott, so that you don't have to blindly click half a dozen links to find the relevant one.

I really enjoyed it. The humour helps mediate the anger over anything EA do ever.

So long as this is what dan wants to do, i think this is a great idea as many of the complaints ive seen from series like switched say that they dont have a switch making it quite a narrow target audience, whereas gaming news is something that you can watch over breakfast everymorning and it nearly always scratches one of your itches so the audience is more broad
