I was diagnosed with ADHD a couple of years ago and now he's mentioned it I can't believe I didn't think of this myself! Dan being too well behaved/naturally smart enough to not struggle in school (at least badly enough to need help) is something I can totally see being the reason he's undiagnosed. That's how it happened to me anyway!
