I believe it's because bleu cheese is made with the spores and bacteria that then grow in the cheese. I don't know how well vegan cheese ages or how the mould would respond to it.

I'm slightly confused about the blue cheese. Would it not still be vegan with the actual blue mold in? Surely being vegan doesn't extend all the way to micro-organisms like mold and stuff. Like you can still eat bread made with yeast? So why would they make "blue" cheese without blue?

So the bit of the video I could watch was lovely, but YouTube videos embedded in the Patreon app are a bit rubbish? I accidentally touched the screen and it wiped out my progress, there’s no way to skip ahead, and it’s very finicky? Normally I thought there was an embed link to the unlisted video but I’m either quite blind or it just didn’t make it into this post.
