As a preface to this post/video, this is a 'scrapped' video, in that we didn't think it was good enough - but it was already made and mostly edited, so we thought we'd stick it on here as a little extra/bonus thing! Plus if enough of you somehow like the video maybe I'll JUST MAKE IT PUBLIC.

Hello!
So I don't like to read reviews, or even watch trailers really, of games that I play on the channel. I like to go in with no information and see what I can see...
The Isle is crap. It's a dinosaur sim where nothing is explained, nobody is about and nothing happens. When it does happen, you just get eaten instantly. Game over. It looks cheap, feels janky and has a 9/10 on steam with 22,000 votes.
WHAT?!
I don't get it. I simply don't get it. One of the negative reviews has over 400 hours on the fucking thing! It's not even a new game, it's 5 years old and it just feels like it flopped onto early access yesterday. Who likes this game? I don't understand it! Is it me? Am I the problem?

So I love this game personally, but for those of you joining the community for the first time, the developers just finished rewriting massive parts of the engine for at least the last year. As such, they're really light on content atm as they literally broke everything to make it so they could do more in the future.
So it’s a dinosaur mmorpg? Even if the video didn’t make the cut the world needs to be warned of this game!

Apparently it has a strong role-playing community. Which makes sense since there certainly isn't enough game to support anything else.
