When I was seven I wrote a story about a witch who went mushroom picking and met a wizard and then they picked mushrooms together. So my point is at least Rebeccas story had a plot!

losing a pet is rough. Especially under those circumstances. 5 or 6 years ago my Mom had a kitten named Nugget, and she lived in an apartment complex. one day a neighbor stopped by to say the cat was meowing in the parking lot. Turns out he had been run over, but was still alive. I drove Mom and Nugget to the vet. They were able to numb the pain, but he had to be put down. It was rough.

We just adopted a dog from Romania, and on the 24th hour of having her home we found fleas on her and had to deal with all that. Luckily we'd both dealt with fleas before and so knew exactly what to do, but that's a mild thing you could have with a dog, and without that experience we'd definitely have panicked. Adopting is so incredibly rewarding and knowing we got a dog off of the streets is amazing, but you need to take it seriously, even more so sometimes than buying (although don't skimp on research for buying either).

The end of this podcast may be the best piece of audio entertainment ever!

The Chicked-pill story reminds me of a story I've been told about how my great grandpa used to place a single pea in the food dish of his cat, and the cat would clear off the entire bowl, except for the pea, every time.

if you enjoy superhero stuff dan you should give agents of shield a go (its on disneyplus and is a marvel series with coulson) and as much as the first series is very average, stick with it as genuinely its one of the best series ive ever seen, especially the later series and i think youd like it.

My first dog (as a kid, my parents had had dogs before) was a rescue and he was the best dog I've ever had, although he was incredibly nervous for a while. We got very lucky. Our current dog came via my grandmother because she couldn't cope and she was a menace for a year at least. She's mostly lovely now, still a bit mad.

Dan sorry to hear about Lucas. Hearing the story you guys shared reminded me of losing our cockateil Peanut. We're all here if you need someone to talk to.
