Well done Dan, I think this is one of the best videos and possibly the most important ones you have ever made. I would put it on par as a piece of games journalism with some of James Stephanie Sterling's best videos. You tackled some very difficult conversations while keeping the tone light(ish) and entertaining without coming off as insensitive.

I think I'm angrier at those game devs trying to sell blatant propaganda that covers up war crimes that are too easily glossed over than I've ever been at any microtransaction peddling scummy developer. If you need to release media statements about covering recent war crimes in your game, that you decide to ignore, you need a long hard think if there isn't a less appalling setting for your war FPS.

I love this rant series.

Well, this is disgusting. Big ol' difference between a war game and a game about the sites of its most awful war crimes. Apply the logic that allowed this game to exist to a war like WWII and it really highlights the issue.

This is nothing short of censorship.. They want people to look at this clusterfuck of a war crime and pretend that we we're the good guys and to me that's terrifying. People should know their country. The good, the bad and the ugly. Because those who ignore history (and in this case war crimes) are doomed to repeat it. And thats a harrowing thought
