I agree about the scoring, I do wonder if we'll see a return of Murray Gold with RTD. The music from that era has so much character. I'm still brought to the brink of tears when I hear Rose's theme. I get nothing from the music in Chibnall's Era. I don't necessarily think that means it's bad, but it just makes the show feel emptier, and it already needs all the help it can get there.

My dad also picked up on the sound mix - saying exactly what you said - the background music/noise is too loud and the voices are too quiet. I thought it was down to their crappy TV speakers, but re-listening on a home-theater set-up isn't much better
