August, a less considerate VA would have been far too blithe with the setup, but I can tell that you took the time to do this right. The slow buildup was necessary, and thank you so much for not teasing the listener when she was vulnerable. You were goofy and poking fun at yourself, and that was adorable. You made a brilliant choice in the dialogue to assume that she intended to use a popsicle as a prop so that she easily has an “out” if she’s unsure. But of course she explicitly states that she would prefer to use you. Even then, you didn’t immediately get to it and intentionally kept the pace slow so that you both could make sure nothing felt weird. Checking in to make sure your hand being on her head was ok was great, and then, “I’m not gonna push or anything”…THANK YOU 👏 Loved the coaching about body cues, and you gave feedback with praise and encouragement. The conversation at the end was sweet as well, and I really believed in the chemistry between these two characters. This is why you’re one of the best, and again, I truly appreciate how thoughtful you were in this script.

Not gonna lie, oral in audios is often my least favourite thing to listen to, I'm not entirely sure why but I think it can often feel a bit disconnected for me? I prefer when both characters are more actively participating in equal measure and getting pleasure together. That being said I knew I was gonna enjoy this regardless because you are one of the only VAs whose oral performances I enjoy, you're very good at keeping that connection between speaker and listener, plus you're great at keeping things moving/changing things up before it feels repetitive.
