CONTEST JUNE'17 : Namorados' Special
🕑 Added 2017-06-10 19:31:44 +0000 UTC Hello guys,We've been getting too many orgies for the contest winners, and the feedback on the latest lavish releases has showed me that large casts are not really where my writing works best.
Because of that, I'll make an override this month.
Considering that my country celebrates the Namorados Day this week (kinda like Valentines for us ), I decided to pick my favorite runner-up nominations from the most recently months that were about couples only.
Other than that, this will go as usual:
The most voted idea goes into production.

PS: Next month, I'll probably have the open pitches back, but with orgy restrictions, limiting ideas to a max of 2 or 3 characters.

The problem with Miles is Brain Michael Bendis.

The problem is that he isn't allowed to be a real character, he lacks any quality of true feeling. I think his character roughly died after the Uncle Aaron issue (a borderline classic) was immediately retconned into garbage. The depth and intrigue that every dramatic story needs was killed by weak kneed writing and nothing has happened since to erase that failure.

It's funny because I am also similar to Miles in terms of racial make-up and I find it extremely difficult to relate to him as well.

My problem with Miles is that he ALWAYS seemed forced. And I often surprise people when I say, as someone with a similiar racial make-up as Miles....he's underwhelming and disappointing. I tried doing a concept comic of how/ what I felt Miles should've been handled but it won't change the fact that Miles is just terribly written and hardly deserves his own comic at this juncture. That all being said....I just want to see him rail the shit out of Gwen.

I'm rooting for Betty Brant. She hasn't appeared in this genre yet, plus she's been absent from the comics for a while now.

Honestly I don't like Miles Morales as a character. I tried reading a few of his books but I just wasn't feeling it. Because of this I vote against any Miles Morales concept as a matter of course. If anyone has a suggestion for a book I could read that could change my mind about the character, that'd be great.

Wait, what? The orgy-type stories have been getting bad feedback? And, if by "orgy" you mean any comic that features more than 2 or 3 people, I've personally enjoyed material such as "Scions," "Wolververse, and "Spider-Women" the most, but to each his own. If you genuinely feel as though your writing could be applied to a different kind of material, that's fair enough.

Love 2 of these ideas but have to go for the X-23, is a shame was going to suggest a Silver Sable/Black Cat/ Peter story because of the new movie they announced that will have to wait till next month.
