A-frame Roof Tile Factory
🕑 Added 2024-10-03 21:05:21 +0000 UTCI built an A-frame hut to make roof tiles in preparation for the wet season. Thatch rots quickly here so my aim is to move away from thatch to tiles. I made 132 roof tiles and fired 42 of them in the video. The A frame structure has proven to be a simple but effective workshop for making roof tiles in, with a large floorspace to lay the tiles (and possibly bricks later) . Much appreciated.

The lizard still hasn't said a word since.

Love the jokes!

Haha, yes. I left some paw prints on a tile. Apparently Roman tiles sometimes have cat paw prints on them. Thanks.

"Local Lizard Left Speechless" 🤣 Was that a skink? And did you leave the pawprints as decorations? They looked cool!

80 hours for collecting clay, wood, making and firing tiles

4 weeks in total. the A-frame hut took 20 hours to make alone before even starting the tiles. I recorded the hours in a diary but haven't tallied it yet. Thanks.

Wonderful stuff john; how long was the time for the contents of the video in terms of days/weeks?

Correct, they strangle prey. Thanks for watching!

Constrictors aren't venomous, but that's because they don't really need to be... Thanks for the video!
