I’m talking about the fact that they’re having actual penetrative sex on the cover but not in the comic itself. The same thing happened with the first Weaving Fluids. That’s why I said false advertisement.

Ok, works for me. Not really a hill I'm willing to make a last stand on. Other than that, the book was... fine. I generally think of Miles as a pretty unexciting character but using him as a foil to other characters like Gwen works really well. This dynamic was on display in this book as well which I appreciated. The art quality was high too. My main issue was that the pacing was kinda all over the place. It was pretty jarring to swap perspectives back and forth between the slow development between Gwen and Miles and the breakneck-speed that the other group was moving at. Maybe some readers liked the dichotomy but it wasn't my cup of tea personally.

Was I the only one who spent the entire book really bothered by how Miles basically became naked when his clothes only supposedly became invisible? Because that was bugging me the whole way.

False advertisement? Really? I think it's very sad that you guys feel that having orgasms in non-penetrative sex is something beneath actual penetration. How sad...

Spider-verse is good enough for a start, in fact it has the opposite problem of most movie parodies in the Scopsverse in that the movie gives too much material to work with. It needs to be continued just to scratch the surface, it contains great stuff top to bottom but begs for more. Take Bygone Blues, it could be adapted with Blonde Parker or B. Parker with this universe's MJ and would be even stronger. A half dozen parodies could be conscripted into this one film, and have little issue in making them work. This is a bit of a problem, a proper adaptation needs to focus on the Gwen/Miles ship but that has been done well previously and quite thoroughly. It is kinda a strain to get a new way for them to bang in an interesting way (why not mutual masturbation complainers) in general but comically difficult when Peni is a volcano downstairs. She has hearts in her pupils and I suspect most reading feel the same way. Earlier I posted a list of the ten worst last panels (that hinted at a hotter story) and this would make it. I've been dying to see Carolyn, any version of her, a female Ock, a male Ock, any femme in tentacles, basically any variation from the start. Liv was an ultimate example and my favorite twist from the movie. Please make Peni's tentacle fear come true even if its Gwen. Oh endless waiting.

I’ve noticed that too. A lot of Miles comics tend to end without him actually having sex. That Miles/Kamala comic, the first Weaving Fluids and now this. They’re even having sex on the cover of this one and Weaving Fluids, but it never happens. Feels like false advertisement.

It kind of felt like a tease. I love miles and just hate that a lot of your comics involving him result in him getting a lot of build up but no sex. But, overall it was great.

An excellent romp of comedy, and zaniness with the female leads. A sequel is needed bcuz we all wanna see Miles fuck up Liv. XD But it does hurt from too many people getting a word in, and not enough Miles on Gwen action as I would have hoped for. 7.5/10
