Changes to $1 Tier

Got a quick announcement for you, we’ll be making some changes to our $1 Tier – for those of you on STL & All-In Tiers, nothing here affects you. Except these sly model reveals!
From February onwards, our $1 Tier will no longer be receiving a Penitent Hero. Instead, you’ll get 2 Miniatures, selected from the month’s core Collections!
To show you what we mean, here’s a look at what $1 Tier subscribers will receive this March, a frenzied Cultist and a Chitin Thrall!
Why the change?
The intent of our $1 Tier is to offer new visitors a small taster of the Bestiarum Experience, without needing to dive straight into the full offering.
While the $1 Hero was certainly a catchy name, our plans for the Penitent Heroes are developing, in future you’ll be seeing more trios built around a shared theme (like January's Wilderness Heroes). As such, we don't want to fragment the heroic trio, and the $1 Tier needs a change.

Couple of thoughts from someone who bounces between nothing/$1/ALL STL - Fragmenting a heroic trio shouldn't really be a concern. The releases are all theme based so no matter what minis are selected you are splitting up a theme. - In general your penitent heroes are some of the cooler sculpts each month (especially if you are only evaluating the smaller/medium size units.) So it feels like we a losing a really distinctive model for a couple of "variations on a theme" units. - Personally I was just getting comfortable just leaving $1 hero set month to month and possibly going in to see if I want to upgrade. Between this change and the eliminating/reducing terrain that's been mentioned, I'll more than likely go back to canceling and if I have time each month evaluate if I want $1 or the full STL pack.
