I really love horror! So, I've been wanting to make an audio with these sorts of really dark or messed up concepts themes for awhile. I just think they're neat. This is another Patreon audio that's super focused on experimenting and it's also a pretty good way for me to guage everyone's spooky receptors. Gotta know what to do next time we do some ghost shenanigans. Obviously, proceed with caution if you get unsettled by spooky concepts and pay attention to the tags on this one, haha. This is a character is one that I'd 100% run away from IRL and *very* much a roleplay
I didn't do a lot of post-processing on some parts of this since it sounding raw and hobbled together is pretty appropriate and adds to the spookiness. If you like stuff like what's covered on the channel Night Mind, you'll see a lot of similarities and inspirations! :D And the SFW audio this month will be a mushroom boy/mushroomcore audio with a lot of cuteness to contrast this one.

Characters in fiction that would be terrible to be friends with IRL always fascinate me so much, and that goes double in spooky stuff since I have the endlessly curious "how bad are they gonna make this" sort of feels all throughout- and I'm glad I got some of that interest in here! I'll definitely do more like this in the future, but definitely structured or done differently. I do want to keep everything accessible to people who aren't horror fans, which can be a pretty difficult sell. Big hooks and comedy elements come to mind as a way to remedy that- so maybe something like a lewd Zombieland, What We Do In The Shadows, or even, like, Ghostbusters come to mind. Have some hugs as well Anira!! π§‘π§‘
I think the log was my favorite part of the audio!! ARGs and works shown on Night Mind use stuff like that a lot and I'm always a sucker for it. Seeing the night of binging videos from there was super cool to join into Playing a more manic character was pretty sweet as well and a big change of pace- I think, in the future, having that sort of personality in a collab might work better, since you can have a more sane character to provide some breaks for the unsettling moments. And yeah- introducing otherworldly stuff in a natural way, especially with this using some "found footage" aspects is harder than I thought, and it makes sense on why you see a lot of exposition dumps or extreme vague-ness in contemporary works of it. NIGHT MIND!! Oh man, Wings showed me them and the Anomalies series and the chills I got π± The glitchy log was so cool!! I could hear the mania in your voice. The occult circle, taken soul, and no longer human concepts were so interesting!!
