So for $5 patrons, you can get the RSS feed, manually copy paste it into your podcast player of choice, and you will be automatically subscribed to all of the content we release here - Ad free episodes and bonus content. Are you a patron of a creator who’s enabled Audio RSS? If so, you should have received an email containing your private RSS link with the subject link, "Here are some rewards to go along with your pledge".
If you can’t find the email, you can always get your RSS link on the creator’s Patreon page. To find it, go to their Patreon page. From here, navigate to the“Overview” section of the page. In that section, you’ll find a card on the right side labeled “AUDIO RSS LINK".
Click the “Copy link” button to copy the link to your clipboard, and paste it into your podcast app or RSS app of choice! You can now easily listen to your favorite creator's podcasts on the go!
Notes:
- Your Patreon RSS link is private. It contains an authorization token that links directly to your account. If you share it with anyone, they will have access to the benefits you're paying for - and rob the creator of a potential patron.
- For this reason, sites and services that share RSS feeds with other users are generally restricted from hosting our feeds. Many are blocked outright. If the feed is found on another site you may have your account blocked. Do not share the feed!
- Some apps will not allow you to add the feed because they don't support any sort of authentication on podcasts. As we find them, we will list them here in the "not working" section, but that's part of what's going on.
- There are some apps that require the creators to submit the feeds themselves (and usually pay a fee). These apps won't work because the Patreon creator who owns the podcast has no way to create a feed without authentication.

Yeah thats makes sense, that would of been around the time we started doing ad free episodes here on patreon. So the earlier eps before then wont appear on the patreon feed. But all bonus content we have ever done will be there.

Thanks so much! This is awesome and makes me very happy :) I've looked at the feed in my podcast player, and I can't see episodes before about episode 60. I think that's intentional though - I'm catching up on old episodes, and so I'm actually just at around episode 50, and episodes back then don't seem to have ads. There doesn't seem to be an awful lot of point in making a new ad-free feed for old episodes that already don't have ads...

I had some problems with Pocket Casts too, at first; but I was able to subscribe fine using the web player (<a href="https://play.pocketcasts.com)" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://play.pocketcasts.com)</a> Other people on Reddit (<a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/pocketcasts/comments/86hubd/using_patreon_audio_rss_feeds_with_pocket_casts/)" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.reddit.com/r/pocketcasts/comments/86hubd/using_patreon_audio_rss_feeds_with_pocket_casts/)</a> mention workarounds like pasting the link into Apple Podcasts, and then copying from there to paste into Pocket Casts; or just pasting it into pocket casts, searching, finding nothing, waiting an hour, then trying again. I think that in the past I've done both of those. I'm guessing that the "Search, then wait, then search again" strategy is the best - I'm assuming it gives the PocketCasts backend time to go and find the URL and cache information about it.

I’ve done some googling. And Apprantly some people have experienced issues copying and pasting in the overcast app BUT manually typing it in worked.

Hi Adam. Its basically how you get the podcast. So all the different podcast players, Apple podcast, google, stitcher etc - are all able to play casefile as they pull our RSS feed. What patreon allows is for your own private RSS feed to get all the ad free content and bonus episodes straight onto your player. But you have to manually enter it - as above. Let us know if you need a hand.

Hi Brett. When you are logged into your patreon account. Go to the casefile Patreon page. Make sure you select 'overview'. Then on that over page on the right hand side of the screen, you should see your RSS link.

Ive added some info above that will hopefully help. As for the apple app, thats what I use so I can help you there. Go into the app, go to library, then shows, then edit, click on add a podcast by URL, and paste the link there!
