Jacinta

Got it! Thanks 😄

Dagny Valgeirsdottir

Damn! Sorry I missed it. I have so many questions!

Laura Carlson

Sorry I missed it! I love the AMAs!

Jezkah

It was wonderful, as always. I really think it was a murder.

Jennifer Guidry

If you learn the truth about one unsolved mystery, what would it be?

Matt Parker

Any chance he was not the intended target?

Casefile True Crime

As in immediate plans, with steps taken on research/planning etc.As for potential episodes we want to cover, thats in the triple figures easy.

Casefile True Crime

Currently its probably in double figures!

Jennifer Guidry

How many episode ideas do you have one the “drawing board”?

Jennifer Guidry

Listened to it immediately. Excellent!

Karen S

Thank you! Goodnight from the US!

Casefile True Crime

Alrighty. I think that wraps us up. Thank you all for joining in and thank you for your support of casefile. It’s much appreciated. Have a great day/night!

Casefile True Crime

Any other questions/comments/thoughts?

Clio

Ahhhhhh booooo! :) I'll continue to lightly stalk people then :)

Casefile True Crime

Haha. Thank you Clio. That is a mystery.....😬

Clio

Thanks so much for all the hard work you and the other team members put in. The genuine excitement of seeing an update come up on my phone knowing I have another pearler to listen to. May I ask, what part of Aus you're in? I always find myself hearing a random stranger talk and I think "holy poopballs is that him??" And casually lean into conversations in the hopes that maybe, just maybe!

Karen S

I do try to read the updates as you publish them (but can’t always get to all of them), but I think it’s really nice to listen to all updates at once as well. So, thank you very much.

Annie G

Fellow Brisbanite right here! 👊

Annie G

I listened to it this morning. As soon as I get the notification that the new episode is up I'm all over it. This episode was just so sad. The horror of falling to your death and knowing it's going to happen is terrifying and disturbing. Don't want to spoil it too much for others who haven't listened yet but it's a tough one to call as to what was behind the tragedy - malicious tampering or self sabotage. Either way, may Stephen rest in peace and may his family find some small comfort in knowing he isn't forgotten. Love your work, guys x

Casefile True Crime

Hi Sinthya. I haven’t checked that out. I’ll note it down.

Casefile True Crime

Hi Jacinta. You should get the entire back catalogue we’ve uploaded. But you may have to go to available episodes to get the full list. When you first do it, only the latest ep may appear. I use Apple podcasts and at first only the latest ep appeared when I was trialling it. But then I went to available episodes and the full list appeared.

Casefile True Crime

👍

Casefile True Crime

Hard to explain, we don’t really have set criteria. There’s no checklist or anything. The best I can describe it is we know it when see it. It just jumps at us. Hard to explain.

Paris Domenici

I can imagine. Well, thanks so much for improving the quality of my life with your excellent podcast. Huge fan.

Casefile True Crime

Thank you 😀Hopefully some peeps here can help you out. I don’t really check out any other crime pods. As I get enough crime with casefile. But I know there are some excellent ones out there. Teachers Pet is getting a lot of good stuff written about it at the moment. (I haven’t listened). There’s Canadian true crime too (hosted by an Australian).

Casefile True Crime

Thanks Kim 😬

Casefile True Crime

Thanks Karen. Definitely interested in feedback for that. Wasn’t sure if it was something you would all be interested in.

Casefile True Crime

Hi Paris. Yes all of them are difficult. Some that stand out are any of the unsolved ones - after speaking to family. Also ones like Jonestown, Snowtown, Katherine Knight come to mind as being especially difficult. EARONS as well.

Sinthya Holmes

Have you read the book or seen the movie, "Bully"? About the murder of Bobby Kent...and would you consider doing an episode on it...maybe? Thanks!

Casefile True Crime

Sorry everyone. I thought it was quiet. Turns out there some issue with my app. Should be back in a sec

Jacinta

Morning Caso. If I upgrade to the $5 Patreon, does the back catalogue of bonus content come with, or just future bonus content, from the point I added the rss link?

Robin Bufkin

I’ve listed to all of them at least twice, some more than that. I find the hosts voice very soothing despite the subject matter and listen while I’m going to sleep. Lol

Kim Talbot

Lol. Casey they may have been ‘rough’ but we stayed with you 👍🏻

Casefile True Crime

I would Imigine some of those earlier ones were pretty rough quality wise.

Robin Bufkin

What criteria do you look for when deciding to feature a case?

Monika Goldberg

I thoroughly enjoy listening to essentially one of the BEST podcasts created- the only downside is that there isn't enough episodes!! incredible addictive. Is there another Australian crime podcast that you could recommend?

Kim Talbot

Sorry for any spoilers 😳

Casefile True Crime

Thank you Robin. According to current stats we have it’s around 1 million downloads per episode.

Kim Talbot

Monika, I’m the same !! Casey you’re very polished now 😁 Although, I still enjoyed re-listening to the older episodes 👍🏻

Karen S

I’m currently listening to From the Files #1! Thank you for all the updates, and for all you do for us listeners. Your hard work is very much appreciated!!

Paris Domenici

Cheers from SoCal. I do have a question I’m sure you’ve been asked before but this is my first time participating. Some of the best cases to listen to are those that are also the hardest to listen to. As a parent I have my own list. Are there any cases which were particularly difficult to research or record due to elements hitting home in some way?

Monika Goldberg

During the recent break- I have gone back and re-listened to some of the earlier podcasts... its interesting to note the changes in structure as well as vocal quality of the host.

Casefile True Crime

Thank you Wendy. Much appreciated 👍

Vender Strat

Saving #88 for my drive from Brisbane to northern NSW tonight. G

Wendy Harris

Starting it tonight!!

Kim Talbot

It was very sad for the family, not to have a definite outcome and closure.

Robin Bufkin

Hi everybody! First, I must tell you how much I love and appreciate your podcast. Although I subscribe to a bunch with various themes, yours remains my absolute favorite. Question. Any idea how many regular listeners you have?

Wendy Harris

Not so much a question as a comment.. your cases on both Silk Road and EARONS were the best in the biz. Forever a fan, thank you for all you do ❤️

Casefile True Crime

Anyone listened to case 88? Thoughts?

Casefile True Crime

Good morning Kim. Thank you

Casefile True Crime

Hi Jessica. Thank you. Much appreciated.

Kim Talbot

Good Morning all, from Tamworth NSW. I second Erica’s comment. Glad to see you’re back 😊

Casefile True Crime

Hi Erica. Good to be back 👍

Jezkah

Just want to say hello from northern California and tell you how much I love and appreciate the show and how much work goes into it

Erica Ocaranza

Missed you guys!
