Case 113: Brendan Bernard
🕑 Added 2019-05-29 06:28:51 +0000 UTCOfficers at the scene conducted an initial examination of the limb and identified it to be the forearm of a caucasian male, severed at the elbow and wrist. They were certain the victim’s hand had been intentionally removed to hinder efforts to identify the remains through fingerprint analysis. There was only one distinguishable feature on the forearm - a faded tattoo of a devilish caricature wearing baggy pants and holding a 3 pronged pitchfork in its left hand and what looked like a spray can in its right.

This was really heartbreaking. Being from Vegas, whacked out types like these seem common, with murders for drug “betrayals” or taking advantage of the weak, but not to the point dismemberment, especially among multiple participants. What a fucking ride!! Amazing storytelling as always. Thank you for everything you do!

Is this Rick's first episode as a writer for casefile??

Man...I don’t get grossed out easily, but that was hard to listen to. Reminds me of the Club Kids murder in NYC in the 90s.

What a messed up situation!. I had just moved to Melbourne at the time of the incident and distinctly remember the media coverage.

Wow, an early release! I mean, earlier than I was expecting. I just just listened to the episode and I’m so. I just feel so sad for the victim and the victim’s family. The part where his Dad said that he loves his son broke me a bit ❤️

I honestly don't know how you manage to produce these almost every week.
