I think this is my #1 favorite episode, I have re-listened to it more than 10 times. Something about family annihilated crimes is chilling to the bone. Formerly, the Beth Barnard episode was my most listened but now it’s a whole series so this is #1

Crazy and sad case. What’s also interesting to see is yet another example where the remaining extended family will adopt such incredible self delusion to hang on to their beliefs that said suspect is a good innocent person and it’s some crazy conspiracy. Especially parents - seems they do it the most if it’s their kid who is the murderer. Must be too painful to accept the reality.

Spoiler So they say he didn’t commit suicide as it would go against his religious beliefs but the psycho murdered his whole family... I’m no devout catholic but I’m almost sure that goes again the religion too. Wtf??
