I lived in the southeast suburbs when this went down and in retrospect it seemed surreal. I was in high school and had torn my ACL and MCL early October. When the prescription meds ran out I wouldnt take any over the counter meds, this couldnt have hurt just J&J, I wouldnt use Bayer aspirin either. The fear and paranoia was off the charts. I still sometimes catch a scent of ammonia when i open a bottle and think twice. Up until this time I assumed if it was in a store it had to be safe. Happy Casefile took this case on, looking back I think I was definitely caught up in the fear. Great episode.

I somehow missed the early release. Sounds like it's going to be an interesting case. I really enjoyed the other Tylenol case.

I live so close to where this happened. I've been in one of the hospitals mentioned and most of the cities. Thanks for this episode as I learned more than I knew before!
