I was of the same ilk re the victim/survivor word use. I like the way survivor empowers people that fall victim to anything but now I’m swayed back to including the use of the word victim...because they are...well victims. Let’s call it as is it. Survivor is so final, that once you are breathing after an assault you’re over it...you’ve survived so get on with life. Many people know that surviving an assault may take forever and some never really survive at all! Great episode casefile.

I love that someone was thoughtful enough to give the perpetrator a derogatory nickname. Every time the anonymous host said "Mr Stinky" it was like taking something away from his character. Another great episode, thankyou.

I definitely noticed Casefile doing this, as well as generally not naming the cases after the perpetrator when they can. Very cool.

What a tragic story! Thanks for referring to the women as survivors instead of victims, that was awesome.
