I always look forward to your episodes and think you do an amazing job with atmospherics etc. It's hard to call an episode my "favorite" because they are all so tragic, but the one you did about the airliner that went down on it's way from Argentina (I think) has affected me the most.

As soon as this started I was like: Is this the Open Water case? Sure enough. The agony and fear this couple would have gone through even if sharks weren't their ultimate demise really made me pause to think. Thank you for bringing this story to the masses and dispelling a lot of the ideas surrounding the (obviously fictionalized) movie. Been a fan since episode 1 -- I believe it was the "sleeping man" when I was laying on the hard ground on a camping trip.

I lived in the area at the time and remember it well including all the nonsense reporting afterwards. I cannot imagine the horror and terror they must have gone through before the final demise. Well done episode. I actually watched the movie, the ending was pretty rough but that was what most thought was the most likely outcome. Just feeds why I would never scuba dive.

I remember seeing this movie and being really affected by the ending. I always thought the movie was based on the Tina Watson case, but I can see what it was about. It’s all just awful :(

Interesting case. I’ve dived these areas and can see how this could happen. It’s such a ridiculously vast area with really dangerous currents and sea life. They had a snowballs chance of being found. Poor guys, what a way to go.

I’ve always been fascinated by this case and thought this episode was so beautifully done. It’s hard to even imagine what the victims went through before their demise. Truly terrifying. Another amazing episode!
