Agree 100%. As soon as other podcasters start giggling and giving their opinions on the case I instantly turn off. Sometimes it takes a good 10-15minutes before they even start talking about the case.

There is weekly promotion on the social media accounts, but this is a great reminder to review the full range of perks with listeners periodically. I agree…it’s a great deal for less than the cost of buying a team member a pint once a month. That’s how I think of it, anyway 😂

It’s the whole reason I can only listen to this show. Other podcasters are having glib conversations about awful happenings, trying to sound like they know what they are talking about. Casefile reports the facts with the seriousness the subject deserves. Men’s Rea and Canadian True Crime are in the same vein (and seem inspired by CF) but not on the same level,

I really enjoy behind the files and all the extras here on Patreon. I do wish there were more patrons who were active and asking good conversation generating questions. Would the casefile team consider a bit more promoting to join the Patreon in the episode themselves or in little separate clips saying hey if you love this please support? Back when I joined it wasn’t super clear what the extra perks for joining were, but I would have joined a lot earlier if I knew there were extra episodes and the behind the scenes. I’m not on social media so I’m clueless when it comes to getting word out there or if you already are. But I would love to see more patrons!

Agree that this podcast is the true crime gold standard. It's tough to listen to others now where hosts focus mostly on speculative commentary. I appreciate the integrity of this content!
