We released it as usual but sometimes it can take a few hours for the podcast feeds to update.

Thanks - I found it the next day. I believe it was a day later than usual.

Where is today's Crime Interrupted episode?

It just seems inconceivable that there were in excess of 120 formal complaints against Alexander Gartshore for sexual assaults but apart from a ridiculously short sentence for rape of a 13 yo he got away with it all. I hate to think of how many lives were damaged and ruined by him and others in that village. A very interesting but disturbing episode.

I recently heard this case on Deathbed Confessions, where they covered Sandra trying to get her father to confess (obviously by the name) so I didn't know any of the specifics of the case. It was surreal to hear about it in the two different points of view and what a sad ending for everyone all around. It is a case that should have easily been solved.

Donβt forget he was a nice guy and dropped old ladies off at their doors *eyeroll*

I am so angry. They let a predator go loose in their village! And what's with a 18 sentence months for the rape of a child? And a refusal to prosecute? Grrrrrr.

Given I'm from Scotland, it's nice to hear a Scottish case. A terrible and harrowing story.

Wow. Excellent episode CF team.

What a sick bastard. And so many people covered for him. They are just as guilty as he is. I hope their guilt eats them alive.

I loved the way this was written, so different. I canβt even imagine how many young girls were molested by him, how disgusting. Rest In Peace Moira.
