When 22-year-old Sian O’Callaghan went missing, Detective Steve Fulcher arrested a suspect who offered to lead him to her body. The suspect then asked, ‘Do you want another one?’
This series, narrated by the Casefile host, takes a deep dive into an earlier Casefile episode, Case 35: Operation Mayan, and features exclusive interviews with family members and lead investigator, Detective Steve Fulcher. When a moral dilemma arises, you’ll have the opportunity to put yourself in the detective's shoes and ask yourself, what would you have done?
All ten episodes are available to listen to right now, for free, only on Spotify spotify.link/CasefilePresents
Note: We are unable to offer Casefile Present's podcasts on the Casefile Patreon feed. We announce the Casefile Presents podcasts to you, as we feel many of you will be interested in them, particularly ones that go in depth into cases we have previously covered on Casefle, such as The Detective's Dilemma. We partner with other producers, authors, and creators for these new podcasts, and therefore cannot offer them here on Patreon. We also understand some are turned off by the Spotify exclusives, we are sorry to hear that you won't be listening because of that, but please know that these Spotify deals allow the talented producers, authors and creators we partner with, to keep on making new podcasts. An incredible amount of time and resources go into these shows, and they are free on Spotify. You don't need a premium account. Thank you for your understanding.

Happy to listen when it’s not exclusive to Spotify

Thank you for this covering this case, I found it very interesting, riveting and I just feel so frustrated that the detective has been through such an ordeal after doing what was the right thing. I would do what he did. Casefile, as always, brilliantly and concisely covered. Thanks always for your sensitivity and empathy when talking about true crime.

OMG. Just finished listening to this. It is sooooo infuriating!!!! It was so interesting but so hard to listen to.

This was such a frustrating case!!! I really can’t believe that any one of his buddies wouldn’t have done the exact same thing🤬

Absolutely brilliant. I just cannot wrap my head around how such a hero, albeit didn’t follow the rule book, has had such a heavy fall from grace. Rules were broken in the eyes of humanity and morality, not because he was acting maliciously against Halliwell himself. You would think bringing two young women home to their families would be the ultimate goal irrespective.

Well done Casefile. I found this tragic case both fascinating and riveting. Brilliantly executed storytelling…real people and genuine emotion. Binged it during my daily travels this week. 👍👍👍

Have just finished listening to The Detective’s Dilemma. I really enjoyed it I usually prefer stories in one presentation instead of episodes because I find by the time I get around to listening to another episode I’ve forgotten some of the details in the previous one. This one was concise and succinct making it really easy to follow, it helped that the episodes weren’t too long either. If you love Casefile like me you’ve will really love this new Casefile Presents

Thanks for your great work! I was wondering if Spotify exclusive Casefile Presents podcasts would continue to also be available on a website, similar to your other Spotify exclusive shows in the past.

Seconded. I *want* to listen to these podcasts but I’m not a fan of the Spotify app and don’t want or need to add another app to listen to podcasts. So until these podcasts leave Spotify exclusivity I’m afraid I can’t listen to them. It’s a damn shame. I’d pay more to the patreon feed or another feed if the Presents podcasts did that - then I can choose to listen on my app of choice instead of the Spotify app. And I know you’ve explained it (and this is not the first time) and it’s not happening so I guess we are at an impasse.

I am not turned off because they are on Spotify, I just don't have any more room on my phone to download the app so I can't listen!
