Case 237: Rena & Danny Paquette
🕑 Added 2023-02-25 08:49:26 +0000 UTCIn February 1960, the city of Manchester, New Hampshire was rocked by the violent murder of teenager Sandra Valade. Three years later, another teenager, Pamela Mason, was killed in the same manner. A quiet housewife named Rena Paquette confided to police that she knew who murdered the two teens. Just days after coming forward, she was found dead under mysterious circumstances by her son, Danny Paquette.
When Danny is targeted decades later, members of the Paquette family believe the same perpetrator to be responsible. But when they receive two anonymous letters, the case takes a completely different turn.

I am outraged that woman did not get a murder charge. What a miscarriage of justice.

I was screaming at the idea Rena doused herself in fire and lay down on hay, as if someone conscious setting themselves on fire would make so little fuss. Then I was screaming even louder when I realized the episode didn't even hit the halfway mark. What a twisty-turny case!
