Case 228: The Harrison Family
🕑 Added 2022-10-15 07:40:42 +0000 UTCIn April 2009, 64-year-old Bill Harrison, a much-loved member of the community of Mississauga, Canada, was found dead in his home. An autopsy revealed that he died of natural causes. Just over one year later, Bill’s wife, Bridget Harrison was also found deceased in the family home. Although Bridget’s autopsy showed that foul play may have been involved, a brief investigation failed to identify any suspects. It wasn’t until over three years later when Bill and Bridget’s adult son Caleb Harrison was also found dead in the family home that police took the Harrison murders seriously.

I'm floored the police didn't investigate sooner when the parents "mysteriously died" the day before a custody hearing and then a victim impact statement was read to the court. Like, that feels like a pattern Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys would be able to follow.

I felt bad about the parents deaths, but am I the only one that doesn’t feel bad for Caleb? Drove drunk and killed a man and injured numerous others…

Wow a local(ish) case! Good job covering it, I knew about this case but didn’t remember the details. If the police had done their job perhaps Bridget and Caleb wouldn’t have lost their lives. I have to agree with Doug Blackwell my faith in the justice system in Ontario has been destroyed.
