Hey guys I seem to remember you wanting to change apps! I think it will be a great idea as listening off your website and on spotify is a lot easier finding categories and episodes. Will support you guys no matter what but just a little bit of feedback 😊

Don't ever apologise, it's absolutely OK. I miss a few of the BTF sometimes. My adhd doesn't help a great deal either.

Casefile True Crime

Hi J Chips. We had already recorded the ep when this Q came through. We are still undecided if we will do an update ep.

Casefile True Crime

Hi Alex. Sorry we missed this Q. We will answer it and address The Alpine Manor Murders episode on the next episode of BTF.

I am wondering if, by late next year, Casefile would consider redoing or making a second part to Case 119- Abigail Williams & Liberty German. If you have not seen the news, a lot of updates have happened in the past year and the person charged with the crime is set to go to trial October 2024. The town where this is happening is very small, less than 3,000 people live there, and this trial may be the first one ever televised. This fact alone fascinates me and I would love it if it got the Casefile treatment. Thank you.

Hi, This may not be the proper forum, but I’d like to suggest as a potential case, the murder of Nancy Pfister in Aspen, Colorado in 2014.

General question… how exactly does one make a living podcasting? I don’t understand how you get money out of the episodes you put out….

Adidas or Nike which do you prefer ?

I'm likely to re-listen to these cases, however with cases like the Alpine Manor Murders and being Australian, after that addicted human set fire to the nursing home in Sydney many years ago, how would you feel having your geriatric relations in such establishments when they become more difficult to manage? Also, for Casey, out of all the festivals on home shore: Good things, Knot Fest, Soundwave, or bring back BDO? Please feel free to paraphrase, adhd, sleep deprivation, and limited caffeine has made my brain into the consistency of Oobleck. Thank you!

Are there cases the team have opted not to make episodes on? Or written episodes that haven’t made it to the producing or recording stage that probably will never get made?

I understand that language naturally changes over time - just read a 19th century newspaper report on serious crime. However, there are two issues that annoy me. First, the increasing instances across many podcasts, where the "ly" is no longer considered part of adverbs. Secondly, the past participle of "to hang" is "hanged" with reference to executions. So my question is do any of you have points at which you become grammar n*zis?

Have you guys ever considered doing an episode of, like, "first time this type of crime happened," where it could cover first medical professional murder and first kidnapping for ransom, etc.? By presenting it as a "first time" kind of format, it could also give you the opportunity to cover multiple in one episode if there's not a lot of information out there. The Alpine Manor Murders, being far from the first of its kind, really got me thinking this could be something cool for Casefile to do.

Hi. A general question for the writers. Do you have any particular methods or processes to help get into a creative mode for writing the episodes? For example, do you always work in the same room/office or change things up every so often, work at set times of day, or listen to music while you write etc? And a question for Casey. Do you still follow the NFL? I remember you mentioned before you were a fan of the New England Patriots and in particular Tom Brady - do you still watch as much now he has (finally) retired? Thanks!

Have you considered taking Casefile to a TV platform ? (Thanks for your podcast as horrific many of these stories are you cover them with grace and I feel that gives some voice to the victims and their families). ♥️
