It’s pride month here is the US, (maybe it’s global but I’m not sure of that) and I’m really glad Casefile has covered a case like this. Sadly there are many of them. I hope it serves to remind those who are too young to remember what it was like to be LGBTQ 20 years ago. I feel like it’s easy to forget the trauma of bullying, AIDs and lack of partnership acknowledgement. There were people who died for enjoying the rights we now take for granted today.
