Casey: How do you feel after revealing your identity at CrimeCon? Has it changed your perspective about possibly being more public? Any regrets?

With the step acceleration of public use of GenAI in the last 18 to 24 months, wanted to check if you and the team use Large Language Models such as Chatgpt, CoPilot, etc. to supplement the work you do? I can just imagine several use cases where LLM could significantly help you guys in research, summarisation, tonality, etc.

Hey Casey, did you voice Jack in the Missing Niamh podcast, particularly the police interview parts? I'm only on episode 10, but this whole case makes my blood boil. Is there no way that there can be a retrospective diagnosis of bipolar/borderline personality disorder from Jack's family's recollection? He certainly sounds like someone who had been self medicating with weed and alcohol to make himself feel more normal but his deviance was too strong. Will you be doing any revealing yourself as Casey in Sydney, like maybe somewhere more easily accessible than Chatswoo or Eastwoo? It's grand final weekend - up the Panthers! 4 in a row!!

what is the process of producing a series like Missing Niamh? I understand it took four years - are you able to break down the process from the conception to final release?

I'm wondering about the respective writers' approach to the use of the word "closure." Personally, I think it is both overused and overly simple. It was recently used in a script, but I felt it's use justified because the word was actually used elsewhere in a quote attributed to the victim's family. I prefer the term "resolution" and wonder about your views. Also, a thanks for posting the early episodes. I've heard Casey being self conscious about the episodes he wrote, but I find them really good. There is a basic honesty and integrity to his writing. Casefile has always been a no B.S. zone. Binged Missing Naimh. Superb series thanks.

Just wanted to say that Missing Niamh is stellar. Casey and the casefile team are so dedicated and respectful. I really hope some developments come from the podcast so her family can get the answers they deserve. Worst case scenario, Niamh’s life and character have been immortalised for thousands of people to truly appreciate what a beaut of a person she was and what a loss she is to the world.

I recently re-listened to Case 52: Mary & Beth Stauffer, Jason Wilkman. I’ve noted that you used to use a lot more accents and some of the dialogue is almost like a radio drama, especially the courtroom scream at the end. Was there a deliberate move away from this style?

This is the only "true crime" podcast I listen too, it's extremely respectful to the families, and so we'll written thank you to the team for what you do! Casey how long does it take you to record an episode especially some of the long ones? I feel like that can take a toll on your voice. This may have been asked before but how do you pick the cases you're going to cover? Do they get suggested, do you come across them? Thank you casefile team 🥰
