Very, very well done. My mum still remembers the fear of that time. I was wondering how you would weave in Beamish and Button. Great work. Mixture of metric and imperial was interesting though.

Yep, and that lead detective went on to be WA's police commissioner and be implicated in the murder of a witness. Not a shred of integrity in that guy.
