Want to get into 90s hardware? Start with an FX module
🕑 Added 2024-01-17 04:54:26 +0000 UTCA cheap 90s FX module is a great way to dip your toes into outboard gear & get a great texture / tone on your ITB productions. Let's take a look at the Zoomstudio 1201 from 1997 as an example.

Hey Daniel, yea the midiverb 3 is great! most people prefer the midiverb 2 or quadraverb, but the midiverb 3 is usually much cheaper and candidly just as good. i have one, think I paid $60 for it 6 months ago or so

Interesting! This made me look for units like this one available locally. Would you recommend Midiverb 3?

Solid move! These are super underrated, imo. Lot of folks focused on the Quadraverb / Midiverbs (understandably, as they do sound amazing), and something like the DP/4 is insanely expensive now (though to be fair, is way more powerful) - these Zoom boxes are gritty and lush. such a bargain if that's the sound you're after! enjoy man!

Watching this made me purchase a Zoom Studio 1201 😅 Aside from my Zoom 708II, this will be my only hardware effects unit.
