3. Obviously. Use book and scroll to... think outside the box. To heck with spellcasting. This little guttersnipe doesn't warrent me wasting a spell. I Knock the little guy out cold with the book and then proceed to cut him with the edge of the scroll. Death by 1000 paper-cuts!
