So if we want to get access the Mac version, do we have to pay for it once more on Itchio or do we still somehow get it if we have pledged $25+ on Patreon (like we did with the steam version)?

I cannot use Discord (mostly due to an endless cycle of being unable to post until I "claim my account" and then being told my email address is already registered and so on). Current situation is this, I get as far as the blue "warning" screen, I get the title music in the background but that's really it, I cannot move beyond that. I can click on the options button and seemingly others hidden behind said warning screen, but I can't see what and thus prevents any actual gameplay. It's as if the warning screen is a pop-up that can't be closed.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble. That is most likely being caused by old save files. Since we added gallery mode and other features, you may have to remove old saves from the game folder and starting a new game. Having played chapters 1 and 2 without issue I simply cannot get this to work. Same result with both the itchio and steam versions, after the blue 'disclaimer' screen I'm met with a blank black screen with the options icon in the bottom corner, however nothing is responsive, no audio, nothing.

The sex scenes are only audio after the lead-up illustration, which is why we advertise Faulty Apprentice as a light ecchi game instead of a full eroge. Hope it's still enjoyable for you though!
