Dev News: Game Progress
🕑 Added 2020-04-30 20:11:23 +0000 UTCWhats going on horde! Managed to churn out a few goodies for you guys this month while work is done to get Chapter 2 out the door. I haven't posted any dev news in a while though so I figure I'd give you a brief update on the game's progress.
Currently I'm wrapping up creating all the character sprites for the game, npcs, enemies, etc. After that, it'll be on to doing character art and cut-scenes.
I am still aiming for a release at the end of May. Full disclosure, it may not be the complete chapter, and I do apologize ahead of time for that, but patrons can expect access to releases of the game with significant game-play, and adult content by the end of May! Followed by regular monthly updates of the game with new content. Stay tuned!

I would say so. Don't get me wrong, there is still a fair amount of work to do outside of just the character art and cut-scenes, but those two line items required more man-hours than any other feature of the game. All the cutscenes and character art in chapter 1 took around 150 hours. Chapter 2 being a little bit longer has a bit more on the list. I'll be in crunch mode this month, but even then, expect a "To be continued" in the first chapter 2 release.
