I agree but the whole thing goes deeper because his 'maturity in aggression' is in conflict with his purity. And through the whole human X chimera Ant and the whole spiel about what makes one human ties perfectly in the complexity of the confusion Gon experiences which -of course- can not be comprehended in his state of mind.

Although it's really understandable why Gon is reacting this way, we can also see how he's still immature in handling his emotions. Right now, he's just like a kid having a tantrum. I feel like aside from great character writing, it is also Togashi's way of reminding us Gon's still is a child who needs to grow up. On the other hand, when we say Killua might get wounded on this---he already did---emotionally, and it was Gon who inflicted it đ„Č I badly want to give our boy a hug đ
