Update on Ch 9's development.
I'm working away on the next chapter. It's going to be a lengthy one, covering the next 4 days of the story. The story outline is pretty much done, and I've started moving through the first day's art and code. It's going to be a fun one.
An early draft of the chapter had the fourth day culminating in this really dramatic, over the top scene. Two old dudes dumping all this epic backstory and exposition like crazy. Rain, thunder, the crash of lightning and then cut to credits. It was gonna be really cool...
But then I had more coffee and came to my senses. This chapter will likely climax with... climax.

Haha! Fair points the story is definitely a large one and the art is time consuming. But there is a plan! It's not outlined in detail but the essential plot elements are already pretty firm. I'm actually thinking about having Ch 10 finish with an incident that'll really kick things into gear for the over-arching story that is the state of the valley and the "rising darkness". But yea... hoping to get all of that done before Sir Boris and I hit the retirement home.

Welp, I've been a fan since the start and I love the wonderful story that seems to keep getting bigger. ... Except, you are beginning to make me worried. I mean, this game is now huge, if you stop and consider all the potential story lines. The original line (Sarah as gf), the friends or more than with Joey and Morgan, our sex succubus shop owner, our aging knight, two sexy teachers, the wacky girlfriend of the clueless physical dude (sorry, too many names to remember at this point), our man-hunting possibly interested girl, our bakery owner girl and her odd employee, our female knight wannabe, the bandits, the Baron, Yvette, the father-in-law who wants Daveed to spy on her... And I'm probably missing stuff. Now, I think all this stuff is amazing and jam-packed, but you haven't struck me as the type to just whip over something, so my concern is you won't finish this until you're as old as our aging knight errant! But, yeah, tons of fun along the way!

Chapter 8 was great. The traveling bandit camp was very cool to implement, didn't expect that. The camp and new characters (bandits and prostitutes) were fun to engage and welcome addition to the story. Up until now, we've just had the farm, town, and university for locations, so thanks for adding bandit town as I'm sure we will revisit it again. I hope Marisa isn't just a one-off from chapter 7 and that there is more story for her and the MC. Actually, so many interesting characters like Jackie at the bakeshop, Also, it was good storytelling to see David and Dayna's relationship grow close beyond raw lust, in that they got to really know each other. But you really got me drooling over professor Priftathi! Up to this point, I've been waiting for David and Yvette, then there is dream with Morgan too! Geez, here is my wallet! lol
