Monthy Spending Summary (New Video Soon)
🕑 Added 2023-05-17 12:33:29 +0000 UTCI have started recording my expenses since my study abroad in Japan last April, and I keep track of my income and expenses with an Excel sheet. (The numbers are in HKD, if it's in USD I would've been broke long ago)
I think it's been helpful to tally things up by the end of the month and see how much of it I've spent are "Have to Haves" and "Nice to Haves" and possibly reflect on my spending habits, and regret on those impulsive purchases sometimes.
Do all of you keep track of your spending?

I do the same! Though the only difference is that I set a budget for each of the categories (e.g. Meals, subscriptions, shopping, transport etc.) and avoid labeling them as 'Have to have' or 'Nice to have' so that I don't feel too guilty as long as I'm spending within what is 'acceptable'
